learned about crossfit back in the late 90s or early 2000s when bj penn was still living in nor cal and was training at the ("THE"?) crossfit training place up there. read @ it online in an article or discussion board or something. seemed like a good idea and have used the ideas myself ever since, esp when getting ready for a bjj, grappling, or mma event, none of which i really do anymore. but yeh, crossfits what turned me on to functional fitness.
